I have seen the following information before and thought it important enough to publish it in this blog.
In light of the many perversions and jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different:
This is not intended to be a joke, it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.
Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this happen?" (regarding the attacks on Sept. 11).
Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?"
In light of recent events...Terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found recently) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.
Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school . The Bible says thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.
Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem. We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK. ( Dr. Spock's son committed suicide.)
Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves. Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW."
Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace. Are you laughing?
Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they WILL think of you for sending it. Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.
Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not then just discard it... no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in!!
I agree fully with this statement. Again this is MY opinion you can agree or disagree.

This is Dawn with her family of boys. Left to right front row Christopher (Chris ), Nathan (Nate ), back row Vance, Dawn, Donnie, and Derrick.
She is employed at Ina Bearings in Cheraw, SC. So is Donnie. They both work Third shift. If you need some one to get on your nerves I'll ship you one of her boys. Any one of the boys alone is fine but get any two or more together look out.
Dawn is the oldest of our kids. Dec. 3rd she will be 33 years old. She lives the closet to us and checks in on us, on a regular basis. Before she met Donnie, she was working Two full time jobs and a couple of part time jobs. She is a hard working girl. Her health has paid its price for her working so hard. She is a diabetic, and has had some minor heart attacks. She is like the energizer rabbit with no energy. She keeps going and going. We worry about her. Since meeting Donnie, She is only working the one job, which has helped her a lot. They are happy and that is all that counts.
I love her for who she is and what she does. I may not all ways agree with her and what she does but I love her just the same.
I will talk about our other four children and families on another day.

Life enjoyment for me are my family, humor, the out doors, and appreciating life itself.
My wife is not only my wife she is my LOVE first, friend second, and chief cook and bottle washer third. Through thick and thin, sickness and little health, richer and mostly poorer, she has been there supporting me in all my endeavors. She is my mate and I respect and trust her. We both have grown so much in our love that there are times we do not have to say anything to know what the other is thinking. Our last jobs we both worked in the same hospital. She worked housekeeping and I worked Security, same shift. We both would get comments on how much we love each other. We had nurses ask us how we did it. We would tell them that Respect and Trust in each other was important to us.
I enjoy my kids now that they are grown and have children of their own. The realize the frustrations of being a parent. They have said to Janet and me, " How did you put up with us ?" We replied with I don't know. Just kidding , I said with a lot of love.
The grand kids are a real jot one at a time. Two is pushing it and Three at a time I send them back to mom and dad. They are fun to be with, their innocence , and exploring , driving mom and dad crazy, is precious. They are old enough to converse with, coarse at my age they are about the only ones that will listen. I have tried to teach them to be appreciative to nature and the environment. Well I have bored any one reading this if any, long enough for today.
Later all. RON

This is my first initial blog. I was born in Ashtabula, Ohio. This is about 60 miles northeast of Cleveland, Ohio on Lake Erie. I lived there for 38 years . I worked in a Chemical Factory for almost 20 yrs. before moving to California. Was there for 6 yrs. and moved to North Carolina. I moved to South, Carolina just over a year ago.
I named my blogger "The Dog House" because I seem to be in the dog house most of the time.
I also have 5 dogs.
My health is not the best. I am medically disabled and on social security. I had open heart surgery at the age of 49. I also have asthma, and arthritis. I do what I can when I can. Some days are better then others but for the most part any physical exertion causes me to black out. Some walking and minor physical activities is about all I do. This has cause me to quit hunting, and sports. Rough housing with grand kids is out. This is frustrating and at times very depressing. I was always very active with my work, family, and friends. The hardest thing I had to learn was my limitations. There are times I over do for the enjoyment of being with kids and grand kids and end up paying for it by either a trip to doctors office or being sick for a couple of days. I only let my wife know of this at the time and she doesn't like it but understands why I do.
The reason for the blogs is a therapy for me and to help others in same situations. To make friends, share stories, feelings, joys, heart aches, and opinions. I am willing to share information about most things BUT PLEASE NO CRITICS.
